DESCRIPTION
· The 16SCT000 is an IGBT/MOSFET gate driver chip designed to control the conduction state of a high-side switch using a high-voltage isolation transformer.
· It drives the gate of the HV switch above the emitter/source, with complementary input signals driven by the transformer's secondary winding.
· Upon cessation of input drive signals, the 16SCT000 quickly clamps the gate to the emitter/source terminal to ensure fast turn-off.
