DESCRIPTION

· The 55140 is a miniature flange-mounted Hall effect sensor with a compact footprint of 3.22cm² (0.500”²).

· It offers digital or programmable analog outputs and is available in three-wire (voltage output) or two-wire (current output) configurations.

· Designed for screw or adhesive mounting, it supports switching up to 24Vdc and 20mA.

· The sensor operates in both static and dynamic magnetic fields and is RoHS compliant with an IP67 rating.

FEATURES

· Magnetically operated position sensor with medium, high, or programmable sensitivity options.

· Built-in temperature compensation and reverse/over-voltage protection.

· High switching speed up to 12kHz and a long life of up to 20 billion operations.

· Capable of withstanding vibrations up to 50g (50-2,000Hz) and shocks up to 150g (11ms ½ sine).

APPLICATIONS

· Position and limit sensing, RPM measurement, and commutation of brushless DC motors.

· Flow metering, angle sensing, and integration into magnetic encoders.
