DESCRIPTION

· The 74AHCT164 is an 8-bit edge-triggered shift register with serial input and parallel output.

· It features TTL-compatible inputs and outputs from each of the eight stages.

· Serial data is entered at pins SDA or SDB, which are logically ANDED.

· Data shifts into Q0 on each LOW to HIGH transition of the CP pin.

· The Master Reset (MR) pin sets all Qn to LOW when asserted LOW.

FEATURES

· Supply voltage range: 4.5V to 5.5V.

· Sinks or sources 8mA at VCC = 4.5V.

· TTL-compatible inputs with Schmitt trigger action.
