Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVC573A is an octal transparent D-type latch with 3-state outputs. It features eight transparent D-type latches where the Q outputs follow the D inputs when the latch-enable (LE) is high. When LE is low, the Q outputs are latched at the logic levels of the D inputs. The output-enable (OE) input controls the state of the outputs, allowing them to be in a normal logic state or a high-impedance state, which is useful for driving bus lines without additional components. The device operates within a power supply range of 1.65V to 3.6V and is tolerant to 5.5V inputs, making it suitable for mixed voltage environments. It also supports partial power-down applications with its I_OFF feature, which prevents damaging current backflow when the device is powered down.



FEATURES

· Capable of sinking or sourcing 24mA at V_CC = 3V.
· Low power consumption due to CMOS technology.
· I_OFF circuitry supports partial power-down operation.
· Inputs and outputs can accept up to 5.5V, enabling mixed voltage applications.
· All inputs feature Schmitt trigger action.
· ESD protection exceeds JESD 22 standards: 200V Machine Model, 2000V Human Body Model, and 1000V Charged Device Model.
· Latch-up performance exceeds 250mA per JESD 78, Class I.
· Fully RoHS compliant, halogen and antimony free, and classified as a "Green" device.
