DESCRIPTION

· The 9038CR31 is a mechanical alternator from the Square D Pumptrol range, designed for closed tank applications with a screw-in bushing.

· It features a vertical operating position and is equipped with 4 NC, snap action, DPST-DB contacts, and a cast aluminum enclosure.

FEATURES

· Adjustable float movement from 6.5 to 13 inches, with a 90° offset float rod angle.

· Includes 2 conduit entries for 3/4"-14 NPT and screw-clamp terminals for 10 AWG connections.

· Constructed with materials such as cast iron, yellow brass, nitrile rubber, and stainless steel 316/304 for durability in various fluid environments.

· Rated insulation voltage of 575 V UL 508, with a maximum operating rate of 60 cycles per minute.

APPLICATIONS

· Suitable for mechanically alternating the operation of two pumps or motors in power circuits.

· Ideal for use with fresh water, sea water, hydraulic oil, and corrosive fluids with a specific gravity of 0.85 or higher, within a temperature range of 0 to 220 °F (-18 to 104 °C).
