DESCRIPTION

· The ACST10 series is part of the ACS™/ACST power switch family, utilizing A.S.D.® technology.

· Designed for high performance in home appliances and industrial systems, it drives loads up to 10 A.

· Features a Triac structure with a high voltage clamping device to manage inductive turn-off energy and withstand transients as per IEC 61000-4-5.

FEATURES

· Incorporates overvoltage crowbar technology within the Triac.

· Available in low IGT (<10 mA) or high immunity (IGT <35 mA) versions.

· High noise immunity with static dV/dt >2000 V/µs.

· TO-220FPAB insulated package rated at 1500 V rms.

APPLICATIONS

· Suitable for AC mains static switching in appliance and industrial control systems.

· Drives medium power AC loads such as universal motors in washing machines and compressors in fridges or air conditioners.
