DESCRIPTION
· The AK4186 is a low-power touch screen controller with a 4-wire/5-wire resistive interface and a 12-bit SAR A/D converter.
· It detects screen press locations with two A/D conversions and measures touch pressure.
· Features include automatic continuous measurement, data calculation, and sequential mode for reduced microprocessor overhead.
· Operates at a supply voltage as low as 1.6V, suitable for low-voltage microprocessors.
FEATURES
· 4-wire or 5-wire touch screen interface with I2C serial interface.
· 12-bit SAR A/D converter with S/H circuit, sampling rate of 22.2kHz.
· Pen pressure measurement (4-wire), continuous read function, and integrated median averaging filter.
· Low voltage operation (VDD = 1.6V ~ 3.6V), low power consumption (60µA at 1.8V), and auto power down.
· Available in 12-pin CSP and 16-pin QFN packages.
