DESCRIPTION

· The AL1788 is a high-performance AC/DC Power Factor Correction (PFC) controller designed for LED lighting applications.
· It operates in Quasi-Resonant (QR) mode to minimize switching loss and achieve high efficiency.
· The controller supports both Flyback and Buck topologies, ensuring high efficiency, high Power Factor (PF > 0.9), and low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD < 20%) across a wide loading range (50% to 100%).
· It features low start-up current, low operation current, and low standby power, along with comprehensive protection mechanisms including OVP, SCP, OCP, and OTP.
