DESCRIPTION

· The AP2141A is a high-side power switch optimized for USB and hot-swap applications.

· It complies with USB 2.0 and features current/thermal limiting, short circuit protection, controlled rise time, and under-voltage lockout.

· The device includes a 7ms deglitch capability on the open-drain Flag output to prevent false over-current reporting.

· Available in SO-8, MSOP-8EP, SOT25, and U-DFN2018-6 packages.

FEATURES

· Single USB port power switch with over-current and thermal protection.

· 0.8A accurate current limiting and reverse current blocking.

· 95mΩ on-resistance and input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V.

· 0.6ms typical rise time and very low shutdown current of 1µA (max).

· Fault report (FLG) with 7ms blanking time and ESD protection of 4kV HBM, 400V MM.

· Active low enable and ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

· Available in "Green" molding compound, totally lead-free, and fully RoHS compliant.

· 15kV ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 (with external capacitance).

· UL recognized and IEC60950-1 CB Scheme certified.
