DESCRIPTION

· The AS1543/44 is a 12-bit high-speed, low-power, 8/4-channel successive-approximation ADC.

· Operates from a single 2.7 to 5.25V supply with a throughput rate of 1 Msps.

· Features a low-noise, wide-bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier handling input frequencies over 1 MHz.

· AS1543 offers 8 single-ended or 4 fully differential inputs; AS1544 offers 4 single-ended or 2 fully differential inputs.

· Includes a channel sequencer for programmed sequential channel conversion.

· Conversion time is controlled by SCLK frequency, with no pipeline delays.

· Interfaces easily with microprocessors or DSPs via chip select pin and serial clock signal.

· Available in a TQFN(4x4)-20 pin package.
