DESCRIPTION
· The AS5263 is a 12-bit redundant automotive angle position sensor designed for accurate angular measurement over a full 360º rotation.
· It integrates two AS5163 sensors in one MLF package, combining Hall elements, analog front-end, and digital signal processing.
· The sensor requires only a simple two-pole magnet rotating over the chip's center for angle measurement.
· It offers absolute angle measurement with a resolution of 0.087º (4096 positions per revolution) and programmable sub-segment resolution of 0.022º (16384 steps per revolution).
· Output data is available via 12-bit PWM or 12-bit ratiometric analog output.
· The device includes an internal voltage regulator with over-voltage and reverse polarity protection, supporting automotive applications up to 27V.
