DESCRIPTION

· The AT17A series FPGA configuration EEPROMs provide an easy-to-use, cost-effective configuration memory for Field Programmable Gate Arrays.

· Available in 8-lead PDIP, 20-lead PLCC, and 32-lead TQFP packages.

· Supports simple serial-access procedure for configuring one or more FPGA devices.

· Programmable reset polarity and write-protection mechanism.

· EE Programmable serial memories with capacities from 65,536 x 1-bit to 2,097,152 x 1-bit.

· Available in 3.3V (±10%) and 5.0V (±5% Commercial, ±10% Industrial) versions.

· In-System Programmable (ISP) via 2-wire bus.

· Compatible with various FPGA devices including Altera FLEX®, APEX™, and Xilinx XC3000™, XC4000™, etc.

· Low-power CMOS EEPROM process with high reliability: 100,000 write cycles and data retention up to 190 years.
