DESCRIPTION

· The AT18F Series of JTAG In-System Programmable Configuration PROMs provide a cost-effective and easy-to-use configuration memory for Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs).

· Packaged in a 20-lead TSSOP, the AT18F Series Configurator uses a simple serial-access procedure to configure one or more FPGA devices.

· It can be programmed using Atmel or industry-standard third-party programmers.

FEATURES

· Low-cost configuration memory with densities ranging from 1 Mbit to 7 Mbit.

· Supports 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V I/O with a 3.3V supply voltage.

· In-System Programmable (ISP) via JTAG interface (IEEE 1532) and IEEE 1149.1 boundary-scan testability.

· Pin compatible with Xilinx XCFxxS Series Platform Flash PROM for configuring Xilinx Spartan and Virtex FPGAs.

· Cascadable read-back for additional configurations or higher-density FPGAs.

· Low-power CMOS FLASH process with a standby mode and fast serial download speeds up to 33 MHz.

· Endurance of 100,000 write cycles and available in a green (Pb/Halide-free/RoHS compliant) package.
