DESCRIPTION

· The CAT5113 is a digitally programmable potentiometer (DPP™) designed to replace mechanical potentiometers.

· It is ideal for automated adjustments in high-volume production and for equipment in hard-to-reach or hazardous locations.

· Features a 100-tap resistor array between RH and RL, with wiper position controlled by an up/down counter and stored in non-volatile memory.

· Wiper position is retained during power-down and restored upon power-up.

· Controlled via three input pins: CS, U/D, and INC.

· 100-position linear taper potentiometer.

· Non-volatile EEPROM for wiper storage.

· Ultra-low standby current of 10 nA.

· Single supply operation from 2.5 V to 6.0 V.

· Increment up/down serial interface.
