Construction

  • The capacitor consists of a rectangular block of ceramic dielectric with interleaved metal electrodes, providing high capacitance per unit volume.
  • Inner electrodes are connected to the two end terminations and covered with a layer of plated tin (NiSn). The terminations are lead-free.

Electrical Characteristics

  • Capacitance Range: 100 pF to 47 µF
  • Capacitance Tolerance: ±5%, ±10%, ±20%
  • Dissipation Factor (D.F.): ≤5% for capacitance up to 10 nF at 10V, and other specifications as per Table 7 in the document.
  • Insulation Resistance after 1 minute at Ur (DC): Rins ≥ 10 GΩ or Rins × Cr ≥ 500(100)* seconds, whichever is less.
  • Maximum Capacitance Change as a Function of Temperature: ±15%
  • Operating Temperature Range: –55 °C to +125 °C

Soldering Recommendations

  • Reflow: Recommended for all sizes.
  • Wave Soldering: Not recommended for sizes greater than 100 nF, 1 µF, 2.2 µF, and 4.7 µF.
