Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The CDCM6208 is a versatile, low-jitter, low-power frequency synthesizer capable of generating eight low-jitter clock outputs. It supports various signal types including LVPECL-like, CML, LVDS-like, HCSL, and LVCMOS from two inputs, which can be a low-frequency crystal or CML, LVPECL, LVDS, or LVCMOS signals. It is suitable for wireless infrastructure baseband, Small Cells, wireline data communication, computing, low-power medical imaging, and portable test and measurement applications. The device features an innovative fractional divider architecture for four of its outputs, enabling any frequency generation with better than 1ppm accuracy. Configuration is possible via I2C or SPI programming interfaces, or through pin mode for pre-programmed settings.
