DESCRIPTION

· The CMX909B is a half-duplex GMSK modem data pump with on-chip packet data handling.

· It optimizes data throughput for a given bandwidth RF channel and relieves the host µC of regular processing tasks.

· The demodulator uses decision feedback equalization to reduce channel distortion and enhance receiver performance.

· It is pin, function, and software backward compatible with the FX909A and MX909A modems.

· It offers improved performance, higher data rates, lower voltage operation, and handles the R14N extension to Mobitex.

· Available in 24-pin TSSOP and SSOP low-height package options.
