DESCRIPTION
· The 712 End Window-Alpha-Beta-Gamma Detector is a nuclear radiation detector designed and manufactured by LND, INC.
· It features a gas filling of Ne + Halogen and a cathode material of 446 Stainless Steel.
FEATURES
· Operating temperature range: -40 to +75°C.
· Window specifications: Areal density of 1.5 - 2.0 mg/cm², effective diameter of 0.36 inches/9.1 mm, made of Mica.
· Electrical specifications: Recommended anode resistor of 10 meg ohms, maximum starting voltage of 325 volts, recommended operating voltage of 500 volts, operating voltage range of 450 - 650 volts, maximum plateau slope of 6%/100 volts, minimum dead time of 90 microseconds.
· Gamma sensitivity: 18 cps/mr/hr for Co60, tube capacitance of 3 pf, weight of 8 grams.
APPLICATIONS
· Suitable for detecting alpha, beta, and gamma radiation in various environments.
· Maximum background shielded with 50mm Pb + 3mm Al: 10 cpm.
