DESCRIPTION

· The CS5464 is a single-phase power/energy IC designed for watt-hour metering.
· It measures line voltage and current, and calculates active, reactive, and apparent power/energy.
· The device also computes RMS voltage and current, power factor, and includes tamper detection.
· It features a three-wire serial interface for microcontroller or E²PROM connectivity.
· The IC supports system-level calibration, voltage sag, and current fault detection, and provides energy pulse outputs.
