DESCRIPTION
· The CS8130 is an infrared transceiver IC that integrates a receive channel with a high-gain PIN diode amplifier, decoder, and data pulse stretcher, and a transmit path with an encoder and LED driver.
· It is compatible with standard UART TxD and RxD and operates at baud rates from 1200 to 115200.
· The device requires an external PIN diode and transmit LED and supports power supplies from +2.7V to +5.5V.

· Adds IR port to standard UART, compatible with IrDA, HPSIR, ASK, and TV remote.
· Supports data rates from 1200bps to 115kbps.
· Features programmable Tx LED power and Rx threshold level.
· Includes power down modes and a direct, no modulation mode.
· Packaged in a tiny 5x7mm 20-pin SSOP.
