DESCRIPTION



· The X2Y® series represents a breakthrough in ceramic multilayer product design for decoupling and filtering in integrated passive devices (IPD).

· It integrates two Y-capacitors and one X-capacitor into a 4-terminal device, available in standard MLCC sizes.

· The unique multilayer construction enables noise cancellation within the device, reducing ESL from nanohenry to picohenry levels.

· X2Y® devices function as broadband filters, enhancing EMC compliance across a wide range of applications.



FEATURES



· Fewer components in filtering and decoupling: One X2Y® can replace multiple inductors and/or capacitors, and up to 1:7 MLCCs in bypass networks.

· Superior performance: Eliminates both differential and common mode noises, exhibits ultra-low ESL, and offers broadband filtering up to 10 GHz and beyond.

· Cost and design advantages: Reduces assembly costs, component count, placement costs, and via drills, improving board-level design.

· Enhanced reliability: Features matched Y-caps with balanced temperature and voltage variations, and equal aging effects on both Y-caps.

· EMI filtering for DC motors and connectors (e.g., airbag connectors, RJ-45 connectors).

· High-speed data-line filtering and decoupling in high-speed digital circuits.

· Broadband filtering, amplifier decoupling, and EMI suppression.

· IC decoupling on-package and on-PCB, DC power line filtering, and data line filtering.

· EMI suppression for DC motors, sensors, and audio applications.
