DESCRIPTION

· The CY2X014/CY2X0147 is a high-performance, high-frequency crystal oscillator (XO) utilizing a proprietary low-noise PLL for frequency synthesis from an integrated crystal. It is available in factory-configured or field-programmable versions, with the former being customizable for specific customer needs. The device can be configured into four different types, as detailed in its Logic Block Diagram.

FEATURES

· Low-jitter XO with less than 1 ps RMS phase jitter.
· LVPECL output supporting frequencies from 50 MHz to 690 MHz.
· Integrated PLL for precise frequency control.
· Configurable as four different device types.
· Operates at 3.3 V or 2.5 V supply voltages.
· Available in Pb-free LCC packages: 5.0 mm × 3.2 mm for CY2X014 and 7.0 mm × 5.0 mm for CY2X0147.
