DESCRIPTION

· The CY7B923 HOTLink Transmitter and CY7B933 HOTLink Receiver are point-to-point communication blocks for high-speed serial links over fiber, coax, and twisted pair.

· They support data rates from 160-330 Mbps, with options for high-speed (160-400 Mbps) and low-cost (150-160 Mbps) applications.

· Integrated PLL Clock Synchronizer in the receiver ensures accurate data reconstruction.

· The devices feature an 8B/10B encoder/decoder, which can be disabled if data is pre-encoded.

· Built-in Self-Test (BIST) facilitates system diagnostics.
