DESCRIPTION

· The CYONS2100 is a second-generation laser navigation SoC from Cypress Semiconductor, integrating sensor, USB, and MCU functions into a single chip.

· It features OptiCheck™ technology and PSoC technology, designed for high-performance gaming applications.

· The device includes a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) in the same package, eliminating the need for laser calibration during manufacturing.

· It supports seamless communication between the sensor and MCU/Full Speed USB, translating hand motion into precise gaming motion on a PC.

· The CYONS2100 offers a compact, programmable solution with a small form factor, ideal for single PCB system designs.

· Internal power system supports 5V USB or 2.7 to 3.6V external supply with self-adjusting power-saving modes.
