DESCRIPTION

· The CYP(V)15G0401DXB Quad HOTLink II™ Transceiver facilitates high-speed data transfer over serial links, supporting optical fiber, balanced, and unbalanced copper transmission lines at speeds from 195 to 1500 MBaud.



FEATURES

· Second-generation HOTLink® technology compliant with ESCON, DVB-ASI, Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, CPRI™, OBSAI-RP3, SMPTE 259M, and SMPTE 292M standards.

· Supports 8B/10B encoded or 10-bit unencoded data with a quad channel transceiver operating from 195 to 1500 MBaud, achieving up to 12 GBits/second aggregate throughput.

· Features selectable parity check/generate, multi-channel bonding options, skew alignment, and input/output clocking options.

· Includes MultiFrame™ Receive Framer for bit and byte alignment, low-latency options, and synchronous LVTTL parallel interface.

· Equipped with optional Elasticity Buffer in Receive Path and Phase Align Buffer in Transmit Path, internal PLLs, and dual differential PECL-compatible serial inputs/outputs.

· Compatible with fiber-optic modules, copper cables, and circuit board traces, featuring JTAG boundary scan, Built-In Self-Test, and per-channel Link Quality Indicator.

· Low power consumption of 2.5W at 3.3V, available in a 256-ball thermally enhanced BGA with Pb-free package option, utilizing 0.25 µ BiCMOS technology.
