DESCRIPTION
· The CYP15G0401TB Quad HOTLink II™ Transmitter is a high-speed serial communication device designed for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint data transfer over optical fiber, balanced, and unbalanced copper transmission lines.
· It supports signaling speeds from 195 to 1500 MBaud per serial link, with an aggregate throughput of 6 GBits/second.
· The device features four byte-wide channels, each capable of processing eight-bit data characters or pre-encoded 10-bit transmission characters.
· It includes an embedded 8B/10B Encoder to enhance serial transmission characteristics, which can be bypassed for systems using externally encoded data.
· The transmitter outputs data through dual Positive ECL (PECL)-compatible differential transmission-line drivers, operating at a bit-rate of either 10- or 20-times the input reference clock.

· Manufactured using 0.25 µ BiCMOS technology.
