DESCRIPTION
· The CYP(V)15G0403DXB is a second-generation HOTLink II™ Transceiver designed for point-to-point or point-to-multi-point communications over high-speed serial links such as optical fiber and copper transmission lines.
· It supports data transfer rates from 195 to 1500 MBaud per serial link, with each channel operating independently with its own reference clock.
· The device includes four independent byte-wide channels, each capable of handling 8-bit data characters or preencoded 10-bit transmission characters, with integrated 8B/10B encoding for improved serial transmission.
· It features dual Positive ECL (PECL) compatible differential transmission-line drivers for each channel, supporting bit-rates of either 10 or 20 times the input reference clock.
FEATURES
· Compliant with multiple standards including ESCON, DVB-ASI, SMPTE-292M, SMPTE-259M, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet (IEEE802.3z).
· Supports CPRI™ and OBSAI-RP3 compliance, with the CYW15G0403DXB variant operating from 195 to 1540 MBaud.
· Aggregate throughput of up to 12 Gbits/second, with truly independent channels allowing different signaling rates and data types per channel.
· Internal phase-locked loops (PLLs) with no external PLL components, dual differential PECL-compatible serial inputs and outputs per channel, and internal DC-restoration.
· MultiFrame™ Receive Framer provides alignment options, synchronous LVTTL parallel interface, JTAG boundary scan, and Built-In Self-Test (BIST) for at-speed link testing.
· Low-power 3W @ 3.3V typical, single 3.3V supply, and available in a 256-ball thermally enhanced BGA with Pb-Free package option.
