DESCRIPTION

· The CYTT21XXX series are multi-touch capacitive touchscreen controllers designed for various touchscreen applications.

· They feature a 32-bit ARM Cortex CPU and support up to 36 I/O pins.

· These controllers are register-configurable and include advanced noise-suppression technologies.



FEATURES

· Multi-touch support with water rejection and wet-finger tracking using DualSense technology.

· Glove touch support with automatic mode switching for both thin and thick gloves.

· Fingernail tracking, grip suppression, and large object rejection capabilities.

· Automatic baseline tracking to adapt to environmental changes and low-power look-for-touch mode.

· Field upgrades via bootloader and support for Android drivers.

· Best-in-class charger noise immunity and effective 24-V drive for higher SNR.

· Supports screen sizes up to 5.0-inch diagonal with a 4.8-mm sensor pitch.

· Refresh rate up to 300 Hz and TX frequency up to 500 kHz.

· Power supply options include 1.71-1.95V or 2.0-5.5V digital and I/O supply, and 2.65-4.7V analog supply.



APPLICATIONS

· Suitable for various touchscreen sensors and stackups including Manhattan, diamond, SLIM, and Totem-pole patterns.

· Supports Sensor-on-Lens (SOL), plastic (PET), and glass-sensor substrates.

· Compatible with LCD, AMOLED, and IPS displays, and metal mesh designs.

· Enables single-layer flexible printed circuit (FPC) routing with flexible TX/RX configurations.

· Communication interfaces include I2C slave at 100 and 400 kbps, and SPI slave bit rates up to 8 Mbps.

· Available in 44-pin and 48-pin QFN package options.
