DESCRIPTION

· The CYP(V)15G0101DXB is a single-channel HOTLink II™ transceiver designed for high-speed serial data transfer over optical fiber, balanced, and unbalanced copper transmission lines, operating at speeds from 195 to 1500 MBaud.

· It features a transmit channel that encodes parallel characters into serial data and a receive channel that converts serial data back to parallel, framing it to character boundaries.



FEATURES

· Compliant with multiple standards including ESCON®, DVB-ASI, Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, CPRI™, OBSAI-RP3, SMPTE 259M, and SMPTE 292M.

· Supports 8B/10B encoded or 10-bit unencoded data with selectable parity check/generate and clocking options.

· Includes MultiFrame™ Receive Framer for bit and byte alignment, and low-latency options.

· Features synchronous LVTTL parallel interfaces, internal PLLs, and dual differential PECL-compatible serial inputs/outputs.

· Offers optional Elasticity Buffer in Receive Path and Phase Align Buffer in Transmit Path.

· Equipped with JTAG boundary scan, Built-In Self-Test (BIST), and per-channel Link Quality Indicator.

· Low power consumption of 1.25W at 3.3V typical, available in a 100-ball BGA package with Pb-Free option.
