· The DELTA B Series Temperature Controller is an open-type unit designed for precise temperature regulation.

· It features double or reinforced insulation, equivalent to Class II of IEC 536, ensuring safety and reliability.

· The controller requires proper installation in an enclosure to protect against environmental hazards such as high temperature, humidity, and corrosive materials.

FEATURES

· Utilizes recommended solder-less terminals for secure connections, including fork terminals with isolation and specific screw sizes.

· Supports solid/twisted wires of 2 mm², 12AWG to 24AWG, with a recommended tightening torque of 0.4 N.m.

· Requires compensating wires matching thermocouple types and resistance wires for platinum resistance thermometers (RTD).

· Includes safety precautions such as power disconnection during internal checks and a one-minute wait post-power disconnect for capacitor discharge.

· Lacks internal overcurrent protection, necessitating external overcurrent protection devices rated at 250 V, 15 Amps max.

APPLICATIONS
