DESCRIPTION

· The E6 Series rotary encoder features a rugged glass-filled polymer enclosure with a 5-pin or 10-pin latching connector.
· It is an optical incremental encoder designed for easy mounting and dismounting from existing shafts to provide digital feedback.
· Internal components include a mylar disk on a precision machined aluminum hub and an encoder module with a solid-state light source and monolithic phased array sensor.
· The encoder is highly tolerant to mechanical misalignments and offers single-ended or differential output options for different cable lengths.
· The base can be attached using machine screw bolt circle options, and a centering tool ensures proper alignment.
· The cover is secured with two 4-40 flat head screws, providing a resilient package for internal components.
· Secure connections are made through 5-pin or 10-pin latching connectors, with mating connectors available from US Digital.
