DESCRIPTION

· HCF4027B is a monolithic integrated circuit fabricated in Metal Oxide Semiconductor technology, available in DIP and SOP packages.

· It contains two identical complementary-symmetry J-K master-slave flip-flops with individual J, K, Set, Reset, and Clock input signals.

· Buffered Q and Q signals are provided as outputs, compatible with the HCF4013B dual D type flip-flop.

FEATURES

· Set and Reset capability with static flip-flop operation, retaining state indefinitely with clock level either high or low.

· Medium-speed operation with a typical clock toggle rate of 16MHz at 10V.

· Quiescent current specified up to 20V, with input leakage current of 100nA (max) at VDD = 18V and TA = 25°C.

· Standardized symmetrical output characteristics with parametric ratings of 5V, 10V, and 15V.

· 100% tested for quiescent current, meeting all requirements of JEDEC JESD13B standard specifications for B series CMOS devices.

APPLICATIONS

· Useful in performing control, register, and toggle functions.

· Logic levels at J and K inputs, along with internal self-steering, control the state of each flip-flop, with changes synchronous to the positive-going transition of the clock pulse.

· Set and Reset functions are independent of the clock, initiated by a high-level signal at either the Set or Reset input.
