DESCRIPTION

· The HDC2080 is an integrated humidity and temperature sensor with high accuracy and low power consumption in a compact DFN package.

· It features a capacitive-based sensor with digital capabilities and a heating element to manage condensation.

· Designed for battery-operated systems, it supports programmable interrupt thresholds and sampling intervals, and operates at a 1.8-V supply voltage.

· Ideal for environmental monitoring and IoT applications, it also offers a smaller CSP package option through the HDC2010 for space-critical designs.

FEATURES

· Measures relative humidity from 0% to 100% with an accuracy of ±2% (typical) and ±3% (maximum).

· Temperature measurement accuracy is ±0.2°C (typical) and ±0.4°C (maximum).

· Extremely low sleep mode current: 50 nA (typical) and 100 nA (maximum).

· Average supply current for RH% only is 300 nA, and for both RH% and temperature is 550 nA at 1 measurement/second.

· Operates from -40°C to 85°C and functions up to 125°C, with a supply voltage range of 1.62 V to 3.6 V.

· Includes auto measurement mode and I2C interface compatibility.
