DESCRIPTION

· Honeywell's HMR2300r is a three-axis strapdown magnetometer designed to detect the Earth's magnetic field strength and direction, communicating x, y, and z components via serial bus.

· It complies with MIL-STD-810E for military and commercial flight systems, offering a reliable, maintenance-free alternative to traditional fluxvalve sensors with an MTBF over 50,000 hours.

· Features include a microprocessor-based smart sensor, digital filtering with 50/60 Hz rejection, and a user-configurable command set for data sample rate, output format, and more.

FEATURES

· Replaces bulky fluxvalves with a compact, strapdown design measuring 2.83 inches, fitting ML-1 style enclosures.

· Offers a magnetic field range of ±2 Gauss with a resolution of less than 70 µGauss and heading resolution up to 0.02°.

· Supports sample rates from 10 to 154 samples/sec and includes on-board EEPROM for configuration storage and 55 bytes for user data.
