DESCRIPTION
· Photoelectric sensors include various types such as Thru-beam, Retroreflective, Diffuse mode, and Fiber optic sensors.
· Fiber optic cables are used for small targets or unfavorable conditions, available in glass and plastic types.
· Glass fiber optic cables offer longer sensing ranges and higher temperature resistance up to 900°F.
· Plastic fiber optic cables are smaller, with a narrow beam diameter, suitable for detecting small parts like IC chip pins.
FEATURES
· Fiber optic cables can be customized to reduce light losses by cutting to the shortest possible length.
· Available in three standard sheaths: stainless steel, silicone, and PVC.
· Bifurcated cable used in diffuse mode sensing; two individual cables required for Thru-beam mode.
· Minimum bending radius of 15 mm for plastic cables, 10 mm for cables with stainless steel pickup heads.
