DESCRIPTION

· The HSDL-3209 is an ultra-small, low-cost infrared transceiver module for serial, half-duplex IR data links.

· It interfaces logic circuits as low as 1.5V and complies with IrDA Physical Layer Specifications version 1.4 Low Power (9.6 kbit/s to 115.2 kbit/s).

· It features extended link distance, IEC 825-Class 1 eye safety, and a shutdown mode for very low power consumption.

· Ideal for battery-operated handheld devices.
