DESCRIPTION

· ICU-20201 is a miniature, ultra-low power, long-range ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) transceiver.

· It integrates an 85kHz PMUT and a 2nd generation ultra-low power SoC in a reflowable package.

· The SoC processes raw sensor readings into high-level signals like range or presence events.

· It communicates with the host processor via SPI at up to 13MHz.

· Provides accurate range measurements up to 5m in any lighting condition.

· Fast, accurate range-finding with a 40MHz integrated CPU.

· Operating range from 20cm to 5m, with detection of moving objects closer than 20cm.

· Programmable modes for long or short-range sensing applications.

· Customizable field of view (FoV) up to 180° with multi-object detection.

· Works in any lighting condition, insensitive to object color, detects optically transparent surfaces.

· Easy to integrate with a single sound port, flexible I/O voltage, and low power core voltage.

· 13MHz SPI interface, optional 32kHz reference clock input, and programmable open drain I/O.

· Platform-independent software driver, miniature integrated package, and standard SMD reflow compatibility.

· Operating temperature range: -40°C to 85°C with low supply current.
