DESCRIPTION

· The IQS621 ProxFusion® IC integrates ambient light sensing (ALS), capacitive proximity/touch, Hall-effect, and inductive sensing technologies.
· It is designed for applications requiring any or all of these sensing technologies.
· The device is fully I2C compatible and offers ultra-low power consumption for both short and long-term activations.

FEATURES

· Combines capacitive, ambient light, Hall-effect, and inductive sensing.
· Capacitive sensing with auto-tuning, adjustable sensitivity, and enhanced temperature stability.
· ALS with absolute lux output, human eye response compensation, and dual threshold detection.
· Hall-effect sensing with on-chip measurement plates and dual direction detection.
· Inductive sensing with level detection and hysteresis, requiring only an external sense coil.
· Multiple UI options for proximity/touch and wake-up functionalities.
· Automatic Tuning Implementation (ATI) for performance enhancement.
· Minimal external components and standard I2C interface.
· Low power consumption across various sensing modes.
· Operates at a supply voltage of 1.8V to 3.3V.
· Available in a low profile 9-pin UOLG package.
