DESCRIPTION

· The IR21571 is a fully integrated, 600V ballast control IC designed for rapid start fluorescent lamp ballasts.
· It offers externally programmable features like preheat time, frequency, ignition ramp, and running mode frequency.
· Comprehensive protection features include failure-to-strike, filament failures, low dc bus conditions, thermal overload, and lamp failure during operation.
· It includes an automatic restart function and is available in 16 pin DIP and 16 pin narrow body SOIC packages.
