DESCRIPTION

· The IR21592/IR21593 are integrated dimming ballast controllers and 600V half-bridge drivers.

· Features phase control for transformer-less lamp power sensing and regulation.

· Offers externally programmable settings for preheat time, current, and ignition-to-dim time.

· Includes a complete dimming interface with minimum and maximum settings.

· Provides protection against lamp strike failure, filament failures, thermal overload, and lamp failure.

· Equipped with an automatic restart function and a voltage-controlled oscillator with programmable minimum frequency.

· Available in 16-pin DIP and 16-pin narrow body SOIC packages.
