DESCRIPTION

· The IRS2526DS is a "MINI-8" Ballast Controller IC designed for efficient control in half-bridge topologies.

FEATURES

· 600V half-bridge high- and low-side gate driver.

· Integrated programmable oscillator with frequency dither for EMI reduction.

· 15.6V voltage clamp on VCC with micro-power startup current.

· Programmable preheat frequency, preheat time, and run frequency.

· EOL window comparator and timer with fixed dead-time of 1.8µs.

· Ignition voltage or current limitation with integrated non-ZVS protection.

· Integrated RDSon over-current protection and bootstrap MOSFET.

· Excellent latch immunity and ESD protection on all pins.

APPLICATIONS

· Fluorescent Ballast systems utilizing half-bridge topology.
