DESCRIPTION

· The ISL97692, ISL97693, and ISL97694A are highly integrated 4- and 6-channel LED drivers designed for display backlighting in devices powered by single or multiple Li-ion batteries.

· These drivers optimize battery life with a minimal quiescent current of 1mA and can operate at input voltages as low as 2.4V without requiring higher voltage supplies.

· The ISL97692 offers 4 channels with 8-bit PWM dimming, while the ISL97693 features 6 channels with Direct PWM dimming control. The ISL97694A provides 6 channels with 8-, 10-, or 12-bit PWM dimming, adjustable via I2C or PWM input.

· Phase shifting is optional in ISL97692 and ISL97694A, enhancing effective dimming frequency and resolution.

· All models include adaptive boost architecture and comprehensive protection features like string open/short circuit detection, OVP, and OTP.
