DESCRIPTION

· The KGZ-10 is a high-accuracy, zirconia-based oxygen sensor.

· It operates without any reference gas, making it suitable for combustion control and aircraft oxygen generation systems.

· The sensor uses two ZrO2 discs with a sealed chamber in between.

· One disc acts as a reversible oxygen pump, filling and emptying the chamber.

· The second disc measures the partial pressure difference and generates a sense voltage.

· A heating element maintains the required 700°C for ZrO2 to function as an O2 pump.

· The time taken to achieve specific pressures in the chamber measures the environmental oxygen partial pressure.

· The KGZ-10 requires an electronic measuring circuit for operation and signal processing.
