DESCRIPTION
· The KTS1697A is a high-current load switch designed for USB Type-C PD ports and barrel connectors, capable of handling up to 140W at 20V and withstanding up to 29V on VBUS. It features integrated protection mechanisms including soft-start, over-voltage, reverse-current, short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature protections, along with integrated TVS for ESD and surge protection.
FEATURES
· Operates from 3V to 23V with a maximum rating of 29V at IN and OUT.
· Supports continuous current up to 7A and pulse current up to 15A.
· Low on-resistance of 11mΩ typical from IN to OUT.
· Includes soft-start for inrush current limitation and over-voltage protection programmable from 4V to 23V.
· Features "Ideal Diode" reverse-current protection with fast recovery.
· Provides short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature protections.
· Equipped with transient voltage suppression for ±90V surge and high ESD protection.
· Active-low enable logic and auto-retry functionality after faults.
· Open-drain output flag and operates from -40°C to 85°C.
· Packaged in a 25-bump WLCSP measuring 2.70 x 2.70mm.
