DESCRIPTION

· 8 Amp bidirectional solid state switch series for AC switching and phase control applications.
· Designed for motor speed and temperature modulation controls, lighting controls, and static switching relays.
· Sensitive type components ensure gate control in Quadrants I & IV for digital control circuitry.
· Standard type components operate in Quadrants I & III triggered from AC line.
· Alternistor type components operate in Quadrants I, II, & III for high dv/dt capability.

FEATURES

· RoHS-compliant with glass-passivated junctions.
· Voltage capability up to 1000 V and surge capability up to 100 A.
· L-package isolation rating of 2500 VRMS.
· Solid-state switching eliminates arcing or contact bounce, reducing voltage transients.
· Restricted RFI generation and requires a short gate activation pulse during each half-cycle.
· Recognized to UL 1557 as an Electrically Isolated Semiconductor Device.
