DESCRIPTION

· The LPY530AL is a low-power, dual-axis MEMS gyroscope designed to measure angular rates along pitch and yaw axes.

· It features a full scale of ±300°/s and can detect rates with a -3 dB bandwidth up to 140 Hz.

· The device combines an actuator and an accelerometer in a single micromachined structure, utilizing the Coriolis principle for angular rate detection.

· It provides analog output voltage for measured angular rates, ensuring high integration and production trimming for optimal performance.

· The LPY530AL is housed in a plastic LGA-16L package (5x5x1.5mm), leveraging ST's expertise in sensor manufacturing.
