DESCRIPTION

· The LS1205E is an integrated load switch designed for robust circuit protection in power systems.

· It features multiple protection modes against overload, short circuit, input voltage surge, and excessive inrush current.

· The device has a low RDS(ON) to minimize power loss during normal operation.

· It includes a programmable current limit set by an external resistor and an internal clamp circuitry for input over-voltage protection.

· The switch offers programmable soft-start to control the slew rate of the output voltage, limiting inrush current during plug-in.

· It integrates thermal fold-back function and over temperature shutdown protection.

· Available in a low profile 10 leads DFN 3mm x 3mm package.
