QUADRATURE CLOCK CONVERTER

DESCRIPTION
· The LS7183N and LS7184N are CMOS quadrature clock converters.
· They convert quadrature clocks from optical or magnetic encoders into Up Clocks and Down Clocks (LS7183N) or a Clock with an Up/Down direction control (LS7184N).
· These outputs interface directly with standard Up/Down counters for encoder direction and position sensing.
FEATURES
· Supports x1, x2, and x4 resolution modes.
· Programmable output pulse width from 200ns to 140μs.
· Excellent regulation of output pulse width.
· TTL and low voltage CMOS compatible I/Os.
· Operates from +3V to +12V (VDD - VSS).
· Available in DIP (LS7183N, LS7184N) and SOIC (LS7183NS, LS7184NS) packages.
