DESCRIPTION

· The LT1330 is a 5V RS232 transceiver with a 3V logic interface.

· It features three drivers and five receivers with low supply current.

· Operates with both 5V and 3V power supplies.

· Supports micropower shutdown with one active receiver for monitoring RS232 inputs.

· Fully compliant with EIA RS232 specifications.

· Resilient to multiple ±10kV ESD strikes on RS232 line input and output pins.

· Capable of 120kbaud operation even with high capacitive loads.

· Driver and receiver outputs are high impedance during shutdown, allowing device paralleling.
