DESCRIPTION

· The LTC4381 is a low quiescent current eFuse with surge protection, featuring an internal 9mΩ N-Channel MOSFET.

· It provides overvoltage protection by clamping the gate voltage of the MOSFET during events like automotive load dump.

· The device ensures safe operation during high voltage transients with production-tested MOSFET safe operating area.

· It offers selectable fixed output clamp voltages for 12V and 24V/28V systems, and adjustable clamp versions for systems up to 80V.

· Overcurrent protection is integrated, with a TMR pin current proportional to V_DS and I_D to limit operating time under stress conditions.

· The GATE pin supports reverse input protection with back-to-back MOSFETs, eliminating the need for Schottky diodes.

· With a low operating current of 6µA, it is suitable for always-on and battery-powered applications.
